jaflongtandoori.com is maintained for your personal use so, please read these terms of use carefully before you start to use it.

You agree to use our site only for lawful purposes, and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, this site by any third party.

 

By using our site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our site.

Our Contract

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved by us and we have debited your credit or debit card.

Terms of Sale

By placing an order, you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. We will take all reasonable care, within our power and provided that it is, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our site.

In order to contract with us, you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. When placing an order you accept that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. Any cases of identity fraud will be reported immediately to the relevant law enforcement authorities and all data pertaining to the case shall be provided.

 

Collection & Delivery Policy

This notice applies to all orders placed with Jaflong, via any of our platforms. As a customer, you are liable for entering the correct address and contact details when placing orders. In the case of incorrect information, we will not be held responsible for re-delivering your order to the correct address and you will not be eligible for a refund.

If our driver arrives at your address and you are not present/ unreachable, the driver will continue to the next delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure you are at the delivery address. Please note that when we provide a delivery time, it is only an estimate and we can deliver earlier than suggested. We sometimes deliver later than expected due to uncontrollable factors e.g. traffic and will try our best to inform you if this is the case.

 

If you miss your delivery, it is your responsibility to make contact with Jaflong to re-arrange delivery or collection. Re-delivery of your order will be at the discretion of Jaflong. Should Jaflong be unable to re-deliver your order and you fail to collect it by an agreed time, your order will be disposed of. In the case of disposal or food quality/temperature being affected as a result of rescheduled delivery/collection, you will not be eligible for a refund or any form of compensation.

 

When placing orders for collection, it is your responsibility to arrive by the advised time provided at the time of order. If you place an order for collection and do not arrive to collect it by the advised collection time, we will attempt to make contact with you, if possible. Failure to collect your order will result in your order being disposed of by the end of the night. If we are unable to contact you, we may have to dispose of your order sooner, as we will be unable to keep your order hot for an extended period of time. In the case of disposal or food quality/temperature being affected as a result of late collection, you will not be eligible for a refund or any form of compensation.

 

We aim to provide an efficient service to all our customers and reserve the right to refuse service if issues occur. Should you require any assistance, please call us on 0208 332 1339.

Discounts

Throughout the year, we may run promotional discounts and will endeavour to inform you of such using contact details provided when you order with us. However, we cannot always guarantee this and in the case of non-subscription to our website, we may not be able to inform you. Any and all promotions may also be advertised on our social media and Google pages. 

All discounts have set terms and conditions, which will be individual and unique to the promotion running at the time. We cannot apply special exemptions or apply discounts retrospectively. For a discount to be applicable, it must be applied in prescription with the advised Terms and Conditions.

 

Some discounts will have no set end date. In this case, customers will be informed that said discount is running on an ongoing basis until otherwise notified. We will notify customers of discount end dates via email/ social media, however as aforementioned, in the case of non-subscription, we may not be able to inform you. All discounts are exclusive to www.jaflongtandoori.com and cannot be used on other ordering platforms, unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to refuse service if we find that discounts are being abused or misused. In the case of fraudulent activity, we will contact the relevant law enforcement authorities immediately and all details including personal data will be forwarded.

Loyalty Card

Our loyalty card is launching on 13th December 2023. Stamps are only valid for collection orders, placed via phone or via our website.

 

Once 10 stamps have been collected, you can choose a free Vegetable, Chicken or Lamb main dish from our Classic Curries options (Curry, Korma,  Pasanda, Bhuna, Dupiaza, Dhansak, Rogan Josh, Sag, Balti, Jalfrezi,, Ceylon, Madras, Vindaloo, Phall and Naga). 

x The loyalty card must be presented at the point of collection to receive a stamp. Stamps cannot be claimed retrospectively. 

x One stamp can be obtained per collection order.

x Upon receiving 10 stamps, you are entitled to a single free main dish (as per the options listed above). Once the free dish has been redeemed, we will take the card and issue you with a new card. 

x The loyalty card cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for a cash value

x Jaflong cannot be held responsible for unauthorised use of the loyalty card or lost or missing cards.

x The loyalty card remains the property of Jaflong and we reserve the right to alter or update the terms and conditions of the scheme at any time. If we do, we will endeavour to inform you via notices on our social media.

If we suspect fraudulent activity or any form of misconduct, we reserve the right to not honour the free dish.  

x Orders placed via any other ordering platform are not valid for this scheme. 

Allergen & Dietary Information

The majority of our dishes can be altered by our Chef to cater for Vegan/ Vegetarian/ Dairy and Gluten Free needs and allergies. We use gluten free basmati rice and do not use any whole or ground nuts in our kitchen. However, all of the dishes in our menu may contain traces of nuts and/or other allergens. As we are a commercial kitchen, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination and therefore we do not take any liability in this matter. This notice applies to our dining in, takeaway and catering service.

Please note that the information in this Allergen Chart is subject to change, due to a change of recipe, suppliers, dishes etc. We aim to regularly update the Allergen Chart to keep information up to date, however we cannot guarantee this. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you contact us in the first instance for any allergen and dietary queries.

Proof of Identity

All customers are subject to providing valid identification and the payment card used to place orders for Collection & Delivery orders as a form of identity verification. Failure to show valid ID or payment information upon request will mean your order will be cancelled and necessary action may be taken, including disclosing your identity to the relevant law enforcement authorities.

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the website at any time. We aim to update our site frequently, and may change the content at any time. We don’t provide any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to the accuracy of the information on the site. We don’t accept liability for loss or damage incurred by users of the website, in connection with our site, results of the use of our site, any websites linked to it and any materials posted on it.

The site may contain grammatical errors or other errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse to fulfil any orders that you may place based on information that may contain errors or inaccuracies, including but not limited to information regarding content, pricing, payment terms, or other policies.

Where you are provided with the option to choose a user ID, password or any other piece of information, you must treat such information as confidential and you must not disclose it to any third party. You are responsible for ensuring that any and all information submitted on this website is correct and accurate and belongs to you. We process information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Use of this website is deemed as consent of processing of your data in line with the aforementioned policies.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

 

Pricing & Availability

All prices are inclusive of VAT. Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.

The pricing of goods is subject to change. Jaflong reserves the right to increase prices on a timely basis, in order to cover stock price increases, operational and business costs. We are not obliged to honour previous prices or price-match with other ordering platforms.
